Life Drawing

Had my first life drawing lesson with a live model today. I did various different tasks to get me thinking about focusing on drawing what I see and not what I know. I also focused on the shapes and lines throughout that stood out to me on the subjects body.

Using coloured and graphite pencils.

Using one colour to block out shapes and another to go into more detail.

Drawing from memory (not looking at the subject at all).

Looking at the subject and not the paper.

Experimenting with colour and shape.

Drawing from life

For the first drawing lesson I produced various different drawings from life using different techniques.
First drawing in which others in the class continued over my drawing from their perspective.
Looking at shape and using colour.
Negative Space.
Depth of field.

Focusing on light and shade.

Toolkit 1: Lego Car

For this weeks Maya lesson I created a basic lego car.

I also created another vehicle that looks something like a tractor.

Coin and Pendulum - Animation

In this animation lesson we focused on the importance of timing and spacing. Here are three examples of different animations that move from left to right.

Invisible Cities - Thumbnails

City of Esmeralda. I have decided to focus on some up close details such as the boats and the manhole cover.

Invisible Cities - Thumbnails

City of Diomira. From my perspective the city is in these large bronze domes that are not fully formed to let light in.
