Maya - Lighting and Rendering - Ambient Occlusion

Ambient occlusion works as a shader to create realistic shadows and decay of light. By laying a ambient occlusion render over the top of a normal render and using the multiply setting in photoshop you are able to create an equal blend of both renders.
