Reflective Statement 

I found his project informative. I learnt lots about the process of storytelling structure and the positive and negative examples of good story writing. The ideas behind story structure and character narrative are complex but these lectures and film reviews defiantly gave me a better understanding of the process. I also find that when watching other films I am now able to pick out these techniques and devices, making it much easier to analyse films. This is also useful for future projects as I will be able to objectively look at my own work use these techniques to better my work. I must admit I found the actual writing of the film reviews a bit tedious and lengthy, I know that this has bettered my grasp on story. Although I am interested in the story aspect of the pipeline I know that my writing could be improved so hopefully this project has helped that. I think that I need to improve my research skills and set time to read through sources properly. Like the essay writing research and academic reading is something I nee to improve on.
